Zac Langdon-Pole has been jointly awarded the prestigious Ars Viva-Prize 2018. Awarded annually by the Association of Arts and Culture of the German Economy for over sixty years, this prize celebrates the work of young artists living in Germany. It consists of two exhibitions organised at leading art institutions in Europe, accompanied by a bilingual catalogue, a cash prize of 5.000 EUR, as well as an artists' residence on Fogo Island (Canada).
The jury selected 14 finalists from 57 proposed artists this year, who presented their work in their studios and the KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin.
