Tom Polo's 'Paris Drawings' publication finalist in AGDA Design Awards 2019

The book ‘Tom Polo Paris Drawings’ has been selected as a Finalist in the prestigious 2019 AGDA Design Awards. Tom’s debut publication draws on a body of work made during the artist’s 2016 residency at the Cite Internationale des Arts residency, Paris. ⠀⠀

The forty eight portraits ooze with both personality and character, their often impish visages revealing a language that proves both playful and pointed, leaning on the qualities of the naive and untaught, while also displaying an astute painterly syntax and sensibility.
