Tom Polo in 'The National 2019: New Australian Art' at Art Gallery of New South Wales

Tom Polo is featured in 'The National 2019: New Australian Art', opening tomorrow.

The National presents the latest ideas and forms in contemporary Australian art, curated across three of Sydney's premier cultural institutions. The 70 featured artists respond to the times in which they live, presenting observations that are provocative, political and poetic.

Tom has two expansive installations on show at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, involving five new paintings, two site-specific wall paintings and 40 of his ‘Paris Drawings’, made while undertaking a residency in Paris as recipient of the 2015 Brett Whitley scholarship, administered by the AGNSW.
