Sarah Contos will be presenting a new body of work in
This is Not a Love Song at
Gertrude Contemporary this February. Curated by Gertrude’s artistic director Mark Feary, this exhibition assembles and commissions works which focus upon the act of sex. Featuring video, installation, printmaking and sculptural works by Australian and international artists,
This is Not a Love Song focuses on encounters of desire, lust and physical connectivity between consenting adults, while remaining attuned to notions of risk and vulnerability.
Opening on 3 February, 6–8pm, the exhibition runs until 11 March.
