David Griggs has been selected as a finalist for the 2018 Bruny Art Prize. 'The Bruny' is a unique national award focused specifically on painting that explores concepts of identity and environment, including the relationship between people and the physical world. In 2018 the broad theme of the prize is 'Art of Adaption', which encompasses the ways communities negotiate challenges such as climate adaptation.
The winner will be announced on 13 October with the exhibition of the finalists' work on view at Alonnah Hall until 21 October.
