Consuelo Cavaniglia in 'The Theatre is Lying' at ACCA

Consuelo Cavaniglia’s major new commission, ‘present distant’, will be presented in 'The Theatre is Lying’ for the inaugural Macfarlane Commissions at ACCA, Melbourne. This exhibition brings together five artists who create alternative narratives and worlds through illusionary, cinematic and theatrical devices, including installation, mise en scene, historical re-enactment, digital montage and compositions with video, light and sound. Opening this Friday, 6 — 8pm, the exhibition runs until 24 March 2019.
