André Piguet in 'Prima Materia' at Bundoora Homestead

André Piguet is included in 'Prima Materia', opening at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre tomorrow.

Prima Materia translates literally from the Latin as, ‘first matter’, and was based on the notion that gold could be produced from a few basic elements. The exhibition invites a comparison between the creation and destruction dichotomy of the alchemical pursuit and contemporary art practice.

The exhibition runs from 11 May to 7 July.
